Going for a run from Dublin Airport

Bit of a long shot! Next week I have a day trip on business to Dublin. I then get back to the airport about 5pm and have to wait till 2040 for my flight.

I am thinking of fitting in my 12km run at the airport

In spite of no showers (am thinking flannel wash down in disabled loos) they do have left luggage for only €6,

so the question is, does anyone have any good ideas for runs from the airport, short of just heading down a main road for 6km and back again?

I would head in the direction of Swords away from the city. There are a load of quiet roads around there if you keep away from the main roads. Be warned that Irish countryside tends to have little in the way of signposts.
