Got it, Got it, Got it!!
For two years I have been looking for a bike to recreate my 11+ passing prezzie, a brand new 1957 Rudge Pathfinder (Stolen by some stinker in Cambridge in 1966!!). Just bought a 1960 or so Mk III on E-Bay, so now I can spend the long light evenings fiddling in the shed!
The biggest buzz was the colour, I have never forgotten the wonderful electric blue of my bike. The E-Bay photos brought it all back! You can see it here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=230335152661
By the look of it I will have to find bars, BB, wheels and chainset too, but I think it will end up as a 10 or 12 speed rather than the original 5 or 6 speed. (Mine was an early MkII I think, with a SA 4 speed, but I can live with the difference.)
