Looking at your post, I'm not sure where Penhale hill is! Also what's Strave KOM?

Strava its an app that records your rides via gps and you can compare how you have performed certain routes against other users

I have loaded 'Map My Ride' onto my iPhone.

Got it on recommendation from a friend. I expect they are all the same in essence.

Def look into Strava, the hills round these parts are laced with them and are jolly good fun/ addictive.

I am happy to take in more varied routes and really want the strava KOM down penhale hill!!!! my last attempt at it was on day 3 of a 3 day ride so was knackered!

Do you mean Highgate Hill on the A30, otherwise known as Hamburger Hill because of McDonald's?

Neither. I live in Fraddon which is where you are talking about with regards to 'penhale hill'
