That's a big leap, from having just one letter!

It wasn’t such a big leap, honest!

I’d eliminated a fair chunk of the most common, and there was only one likely letter to go in the 5th position, which in turn dictated the obvious letter in third. So, I’d effectively got the last three letters. Then just find two likely letters in one and two to make a word, and there were not many to chose from. Easy easy!
