Mamhead is a killer, still i am only 12 mins slower over the 2.5K than the pro riders

Keep meaning to do the estuary loop inc the ferry.

It really has. I grew up about half an hour away and over the years I'd never been to Exeter enough to be really familiar with it so I'd go to do something and feel a bit lost again because things had changed. Lived there for about 18 months in the end and got a better idea but my brain really struggled combining memories from bits of the last 25 years to work out what was where!

The monument on Mamhead was built by a distant relative of mine, Henry Ball esq to guide ships into the Exe.

I remember going to Bristol or Plymouth for 'Special' shopping trips. My uncle lived in Bristol and as a treat we went to the Zoo. Happy Daze.
Taunton and Bridgewater were visited for the Carnivals however which were quite amazing!
