Hello, I'm new to cyclechat/cycling.
I am taking part in Nightrider on June 11 - with my eldest son and daughter and best friend. A 100k night-time circular ride around London. We're raising money for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund - a charity close to our hearts as my husband was diagnosed with this in 2008 and it continues to be a long, hard battle for all involved.
Here's the thing - having signed up for this event I now realise that well fitting bikes, appropriate to the occasion are key. I wonder if anyone has a good idea about borrowing a couple lightweight bikes preferably for 'ladies' - height around 5ft 3ins... It seems wrong to pay out for stuff when you're trying to raise money for charity!
