My plan is to commute from Denny to Alloa in Central Scotland. Hopefully a few of the Scottish contingent can help.
I have trialled the Kincardine route - Denny to Clacks Bridge is 10 miles - Clacks Bridge to Alloa is 7.5, so 17.5 miles each way, 35 per day.
I'm going to check out the Stirling route but I don't fancy a cycle involving a) the massive Granada roundabout, and b) all those fastish bypass roads.
Is there an alternative route that doesn't turn into a Sunday stroll in the hills? I fear the Stirling option might be out!
