Hi Jay, cycling is a great way to lose weight. I've lost 1.5 stone since March just by cycling between 15 and 25 miles 4 to 5 times a week, generally eat very healthily but still enjoy a few beers. Good luck and happy cycling.
I would say after you have lost some weight lol no disrespect to @Hill Wimp and also welcome jay you will have lots of fun and lose weight whilst doing so on your bicycle !
