Hi after 20 years I finally bought a road bike again after riding mountain bikes for years and as a lot has changed over the years not so clued up on them any more. After reading reviews and looking about I bought a specialized Allez 2013 as it looked like a good entry level bike. I have taken the pedals off and put clip ones on with shoes and taken all unneeded bits like reflectors and spoke guard, just wondered if anybody could point me in the direction of some lighter and decent tyres as I was told the tyres on there are ok but not great. Thanks

Thanks I'm not sure about any of it had my first ride today feels weird and very quick compared to my mtb

at the moment I am using continental ultra sport tyres on my road bike, which I am happy with.
