Hey Stevo, i have a ruptured anterior ligamemt, but it's slight so had a knee anthroscopy 2 months ago. Take it slow and steady. Don't push it and you will start putting the miles on. I'm currently at 21 miles on a 4 year old mountain bike (waiting for my roadie to arrive)

hi thanks for the reply.
yes im going to take it easy like you said.
but you know how easy it is to carried away.
my op involved removing splintered bone and i had patella tenden cut .
also lost cartilage in the op as well.
but doctor said i should have no problem now riding as long as i don't do to much.
hope to see a pic of your new roadie when you get it.

Of course mate.

Keep doing the physio classes and/or exercises , to keep the muscles nice and firm. I have found cycling and doing the exercises really helpful.
