Hi all,
I'm Smeagol (Steve) and I'm currently living in the area of the Surrey Hampshire border. The reason I've joined up is that I'm planning on starting to commute to work by bike soon and just generally use my bike more, however, considering I've not ridden a bike in over 10 years it will be interesting to say the least.

Hi Smeagol and welcome to CC. Good luck with commuting - if you keep at it and don't over do it I think it's one of the fastest ways to increase your fitness (a little and often).

Thanks, though I'm more worried about my cycling ability/confidence riding on some very busy roads.
