Better solution: use an Exposure Joystick QR mount and "foot". Fasten the foot to the Hope with a countersunk M5 allen bolt and threadlock. Then you have a robust mount where the QR works properly, and you never have to re-aim the light.

The plastic QR mount has broken. Which aint bad for a 10 year old light with heavy usage.
New mounts are a tenner plus P+P, but just seeing if anyone has one spare.
