Think of the beach under the naked sun and the way it gently toasts your feet...Barbados? Trinidad? Jamaica?

There's mortar this than meets the eye...

I rather foolishly ran out barefoot onto the black sand beach at Piha in NZ on a baking summers day. Nearly burnt my feet off.

Reminds me of Cleopatra's Island in Turkey...
It's not a big beach (that's part of the problem), but beautiful...and heavily protected.
The sand is like nothing i've felt before, so soft and rich in colour.
You MUST shower before leaving the beach (they said the sand would be gone in x amount of years if you didnt shower...it would slowly get carried away on peoples feet and in their swimwear), you're not allowed to venture onto parts of it, and there are guards either side to make sure the rules are obeyed (in a nice way).
