The National Statistics Office near Victoria Station is superb! Even from the outside it's worth a peak, but they've fairly recently refurbished the inside, not an excessive waste of taxpayer's money but just a sensible and tasteful tart up. I visited as technical guy supporting a sales pitch for mobile phone services, so was lucky enough to see inside too, but it's a genuinely lovely building inside and out. I can't now remember if we got the sale or not.

Got to be honest, art deco not really my bag. 'Proper' modernism and even some brutalist stuff (on that other thread) is the donkeys conkers.
Yesterday, granddaughter & I visited the Freddie Mercury pre-auction viewing at Sotheby's, New Bond Street.
Among many other Art Deco items to be sold were the above.. So many other perfect examples on display to see, too, if you're in London and visit ~ Sotheby's ~ 😎

A restaurant in Criccieth, of all places. My photo wasn't as good, so nicked someone else's. Meal OK.
used to be part of Butlins, lovely building, so nice to see it preserved

Just researched it thanks. Butlins Pwllelhi holidaymakers were bussed in for tea dances. The site's now a Haven holiday park. A Clough Ellis design.
