I've been trying to install a Panasonic raw camera file converter program Silkypix on this PC and keep getting an error message..."Install Wizard was interrupted before"' Silkypix could not be installed. System not modified.'

Apparently there is an Installshield bug with Windows SP2. and a fix that goes...
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;821546

To resolve this issue, identify the user account that is used to run the program, and then assign the "Impersonate a client after authentication" user right to that user account. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Local Security Policy.
2. Expand Local Policies, and then click User Rights Assignment.
3. In the right pane, double-click Impersonate a client after authentication.
4. In the Local Security Policy Setting dialog box, click Add.

5. In the Select Users or Group dialog box, click the user account that you want to add, click Add, and then click OK.
6. Click OK.

I've added 'administrator' and my login user name. The only prob is that it doesn't seem to fix the problem...still get same error message ( I have restarted the PC - twice).

Any ideas? Anyone had this..?

Actually when I go into the user security policy I get this...before

The error returned when trying to retrieve these settings from the local security policy database (%windir%securitydatabasesecedit.sdb) was: The parameter is incorrect

and there is a fix for this apparently...

But I'm out of my depth now - is it safe to change this?
