could be an isp issue, as neither of the computers in the house can access it (it's not on any list of blocked sites), and every other site seems to be ok.

yes tried that, and it they think it's ok. any idea what might be causing it? i've rebooted both modem and router; i've not set the firewall up to block any sites. i'm bloody stuck!

Are you loading from a favourite/bookmark?

Try typing 'facebook' straight into google or entering http://www.facebook.com into browser.

Odd. FB has been misbehaving lately though with me - it's up and running but it keeps deciding you have '23 new posts' or something and turns out they're already there. Maybe just a temporary 'upgrade' bug...?
