I just happened to notice a Royal Mail van today, no idea way, it had the royal insignia EIIR on the door, should they not be getting them replaced with CIIIR?

The better do it quick as the company that owns them have threatened to declare insolvency.

Anyway, I thought the ER version was a tribute to Esther Rantzen.

No time limit on organisations or public bodies to change insignia.
Unlike royal appointments that have 3 years to remove it and then apply for a new one.

You have virtual reality post boxes up your end?

As long as it isn't up his rear end ...

I dunno about virtual reality post boxes. I'd much rather have a real one again.

The one at the top of the road keeps getting nicked - the last one barely lasted a handful of months, and that's after it took them two years to replace it. (Got nicked during first lockdown)

It's been five months and counting...

Given everything which is happening at RM my guess is either this hasn't been considered or to spend ££££ would be at best insensitive, at worst inflammatory towards the workers and unions.

I can't say I'm concerned and I doubt Charles is either.
