Islabike Beinn 24 Stolen Edinburgh

My daughter is devastated that her Islabike with 24" wheels was stolen (while locked up) from the school today. Hoping to see it pop up on eBay or Gumtree if the thief realises its value. These are much sought after bikes and don't crop up too often on 2nd hand market so if you see it please email me.

Bike as pictured except with brand new Nutrak moutain bike tyres.

Next time - I'll get her a better lock.

They are starting to become more common - a year or two ago I never spotted any, now I see one every other month or so if you exclude our Beinn 24 - though yours is definitely cleaner than ours!! Do you know the ID number?

Sorry to hear about the bike, will definitely keep an eye out whilst on ebay etc. Seems to be rife at the moment as my friend has just had his Langster stolen.

Lothian and Borders finest recently arrested a dealer in stolen bike and recovered "over £30K" worth of bikes, so it is worth checking to see if it one that they have recovered....
