Don't understand this. Why would the Police warn anyone about possessing an offensive weapon in their own home, when that is not a crime? The law is quite clear on this "Any person who without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, the proof whereof shall lie on him, has with him in any public place any offensive weapon shall be guilty of an offence". Prevention of Crime Act 1953.There's no right or wrong, it simply depends on who you believe.
Klass claims something was said, the police claim it was not.
We have no means of deciding who is telling the truth, other than making a value judgment on each party.
