...Brits beat the French and Germans in something again.

“In a four-hour period last weekend, on the A26 motorway near Saint-Omer, a Franco-British patrol stopped 30 cars for breaking the 130km/h (80mph) limit. All but two were from Britain. British drivers have committed half of the most serious speeding offences - over 125mph - in the region this year.”

Sadly, it's in disobeying motoring law.

The problem in Britain is that the hard core are not dealt with, everyone else sees them speeding around and thinks it is okay. Next thing we have a culture of speeding through the country.

I was once fined £90 in France for not stopping fully at a 'STOP' sign. Of the 8 cars that did the same at the junction the only 2 stopped and fined were me and a German car. The French drivers were all let off. I wonder if they get less hassle by targetting foreign drivers.
