if you look carefuly at the point that two police cars are visible, the front one doesn't look quite right,

thats because its a stolen car thats been altered to look like a police car - it is, as the article says, altered footage from a real chase.

Sadly, I think I've seen the original police chase on one of those police camera action style programs.
