Hi my name is rick, and would just like to say hello. I'm new to road cycling (4 months) have got an entry level decathlon triban 300 in white. Being new to road biking I have numerous questions about my bike set up, tyre choice, etc etc. and will post questions as and when they arise. Many thanks to the people who have already answered to some questions I have already posted

I find it ok, but being new to road biking I can't compare it to anything else really. I've put clipless pedals on which has helped me gain more speed. I'm just trying to get lots of miles under my belt before I join a club. I've been told to change my tyres because the standard btwin tyres are cheap and nasty. But I can't fathom why yet...
