Lost My Bike - What's the situation

Lost my bike over a month ago. Called the police and they said that someone in the Lancashire area had claimed he found it beside a river at his neighbours. As usual procedure they kept it for a month and then gave it back to the so called "finder"

Anyway I have the frame number and such and am just about to contact the guy who found it. It needed a bit of work done on it but it's still an alright bike so wish me luck that I get it back
