Malicious prosecution of civic minded cyclist or what?

Yes it's only the police who a driver has to stop for but if they choose to stop for someone else they can. Did the cyclist really stop the van driver or did the van driver stop to interact with nthe cyclist?

Have you read the article, it clearly states he stopped the van driver In order to speak to the car driver.

You can see him with his hand in the air and presumably preventing the van from going through the lights, I would sound my horn and tell him to get out of the way as well!

The mistake he made was jumping the next red light knowing the knobber was behind him with his camera running.

As said already, film and report offences all you like but wind your necks in as one day you might just get your comeuppance.

Don't see many stopping these hoody clad lads on their illegal scooters to point out their crimes do you, I wonder why?

No he wasn't, the car driver was.

The van driver was behind him and was instructed to 'wait a second ' while he held him up to lay down the law.

Not read the article then?

Sorry I didn't pick up in that.

Then the van driver went through a red light.

Just because your held up dosent give the right to break the law!
