The group then set off South along the Prom towards Lytham before one of our number turned back to, I think, ride to Fleetwood to camp there..

No camping, just hoteling my camping gear seems highly resistant to being compacted and made lighter, even the small hoteling / utility panniers brought seemed fuller than expected.

I have replaced my line lamp (the middle one whose standby capacitor failed although the expected mechanical fault was not found on dissassembly..

When I came out of a sainsburys in Lancaster, the large uppermost rear lamp had been knocked? severely out of alignment; I bent it back, but south of Southport, in the tpt woodland path, the bumps did for its now fatigued b&m 'meccano-style' bracket...

....it used to impress people from a distance but
I wonder whether to replace it with another (lighter weight)line-style lamp like the one below it?

Edit: yes I think I will because that will be lighter. I have replaced the broken lamps capacitor so it can live on as that 'supplementary lamp'.
