Took Mrs McGinty's home-made granola out of the cupboard and dropped the container it on the floor; organic oats, fair trade quinoa, Medjool dates, etc everywhere! What's to do?

3 second rule, sweep up the remains for the bin and no-one's the wiser.

At the moment I'm operating a one week rule. My wife's away for a fortnight and it will take me a week to tidy up.

I meant to drain the noodles over the sink the other night, but tipped the wrong hand and emptied the contents into the sink (full of all the stuff waiting to be washed), whilst chatting to Mr Summerdays. I hesitantly suggested we could rescue some but Mr Summerdays said NO firmly and plopped it into the recycling bucket to save me from myself!

I was working in Ilkeston yesterday which is the same as being paralysed.

It wasn't glass, John Lewis own brand storage jars.
