The cabling and brake hose length leave a bit to be desired but it does have very narrow town bars..
if i fit 600mm bars the cables and hoses will be ok...we shall see..
i treated myself to the boardman comp pro duel pedals too so i can clip in or wear shoes boots etc..

£580 in total as the bike had 20% off so over a £140 saving...been looking at a lot but this just fitted and looked great...as said the Mavic wheels are very nice..

i was going to spend 5k on a fresh small van but i decided to keep my perfect 3.3 ton van and do the commute to work..on 2 wheels..

Really chuffed with this bike..quick nimble and the brakes are fantastic..makes you realise how bad standard roadie brakes really are...

I was very surprised with the power/modulation of the Ultegra on my (new, last October) Gran Fondo, far far superior, compared to what I recall of the Tiagra on my (2013) 'blue/winter' Ribble, when that was new

The difference will be noticeable in the wet & grime, or if, a wheel is 'pot-holed'
