Hello All!

Nice to meet you, I've been lurking and reading, thought I better show myself!

I am relatively new to cycling. Used to do a lot of running, got injured, had lots of time off, lost all fitness, now going for lower impact sport. I've entered a few progressively longer sportives as the year goes on to encourage (read force) myself to train and get fitter. I have dabbled in cycling in the past but now the running is definitely over I'm hoping to really push on with this.

The stuff or myth and legend if the shops and magazines are anything to be believed, a lady cyclist! How hard is it to find decent ladies stuff that's not a pink and flowery token after thought?! Ranting now....

Sorry, and hello!

I'm a female cyclist as well. I agree in not wanting the pink girly stuff. Maybe try some mens tops in some cycle shops and see how you get on for sizing. I did laugh yesterday when I came across a site called Fat lad at the back or something like that and they do female cycling gear as well.
