Did they cover the Velvet Underground's Sweet Jane?

It's not on my MTH compilation

One of the best bands of the 70s. The opening of All the Young Dudes has to be one of the best intros to any song ever.

According to R2 they are about to tour to mark 30 years since the band split up.

Named after a book... called (funnily enough) Mott The Hoople

There's loads of bands who've taken their names from books. Some I can think of are Heaven 17 (from A Clockwork Orange), Steely Dan (from the Naked Lunch), Aerosmith (from Sinclair Lewis's Arrowsmith), Belle and Sebastian (book of same name), The Doors (from Aldous Huxley's "The Doors of Perception"), My Chemical Romance (from a short story by Irvine Welsh) but James Blunt decided on bit of rhyming slang as it fits perfectly.
