He's had a crate since a pup. He goes in by himself, it's his home, his safeplace. When he's in there the rule is he's not disturbed. He uses it less and less now and the only time he's put in is at night or when we go out. Though in actual fact once it gets past midnight he goes in himself and settles for the night. I think the time is coming when it will be redundant.

I know another guy who keeps his dog in a cage like that, it was the first time I'd seen one. Why not, dog seems happy enough.
