New bike in Suffolk

Hello. I turned 40 last year, and I'm a couple of stone heavier than I ought to be, and horribly unfit. I've just bought myself my first bike with drops in over 20 years, and the first time I rode it after getting it home I just couldn't stop grinning

I think the tech has moved on a bit since the late 80s - and this clipless pedals lark is going to take a bit of getting used to!

Initial indications are that Suffolk isn't quite as flat as I thought, but hopefully that'll wear off in time.

Welcome Doug. You'll soon get the hang of those pedals, and the hills do eventually unwind. Plenty of lovely routes out your way to go play on.
