i just did a google search for a bike forum (just wanted some advice from people "in the know"), this was the first i found, im not a member of any other forums, found "you" lot so nice, i decided to stay! its nice to give some feedback to people that are helpful, and many of you have been.. its a nice place and good to "see" not many people here take it too seriously/not that many of you seem to have "your heads too far up your arses"




so well done, i was so impressed i didn't need to look any further..

Was a little dismayed at the rather heavy handed moderating of Cycling Weekly's forum, but on reflection understand that they've got a brand to protect. Shame, because I hardly ever post or even read there any more, it's far too stuffy and it's difficult to express humour on there without getting a ticking off. That's how I ended up here, but I don't get involved in the soapbox / argument threads, I'd rather be riding my bike

I remembered what a nice, quiet, clean living, friendly bunch the Cycle Chat people seemed to be so thought I'd re-join as I am doing a fair bit of cycling again

Just started cycling again after a 5 year break and something strange seemed to have happened in the interim. Campag looked to have standardised the design of a great deal of it's equipment - in utter disbelief I sought out a forum where I could confirm this and landed here.
