Hi Everyone just thought i'd say hi. I am a 47 year old from cheshire just got back on a bike as used to love riding when was a kid. Got abit more free tme now as the kids are teenagers !
Currently riding a gt mountain bike but would really love a road bike.
Been out on my own the last couple of months then did a sky ride two weeks ago - very steady 16 miles bit slow if im honest but enjoyed it.
Did 22 miles on my own last week in 1.50 - not too shabby for me tbh !!
Trying to get as fit as i can - going to try for 26 miles tomorrow.
Been looking on this site for a while now and finally joined today its great.
Looking for a road bike around £350 and have already had some good advice

Hi there! 22 miles on a mountain bike is pretty good going...well done! You'll be flying once you get the road bike though!

Oh so my plan went west today. Got a puncture 15 miles in. Couldn't find the hole so pumped the tyre back up and it seemed fine, turned out I had a slow puncture. Opened my bag up and guess what - had forgotten my spare inner tube , gutted
