Oh and bikes are very addictive, when i joined here two years ago i had one bike, i now have four!!

hiya yes it will get easer you will get addicted like us i use the dunfermline to alloa path i do 25 mile each time i do it and try and do it 3 or 4 times a week to build up my strength never went all way to alloa yet but do hope tooHi all, newbie from Scotland putting out my first post. I'm not only new to Cycle Chat but new to cycling. So new I don't have a bike, well not strictly true I have a mountain bike that Iv'e converted for the road so I will be on the lookout for something second hand to get me started. Tell me, all you long timers out there does it get any easier on your backside mine's been killing me !
will need to try i only do dunfermline to clackmannan think am ready to try go all way to alloa nowI did the Alloa to Dunfermline path last Sunday (about 50 km). I went out on the old Alloa road that runs along the Clackmannan bypass. At the end their is a cycle route sign for Clackmannan.
i would probs do the same as no sense of direction lolLast time i was on that path i came off the path and ended up about 9 miles from stirling but got tired and headed back, that was about 2 years ago now though
