Of course phones take excellent photos, but I just wish they had viewfinders....
I notice you use a big camera often.

Despite all the cold, the fog really did give some great atmosphere and visuals.

I'm taking the liberty of speaking for her, but I think it captures something magical and would make a great header.

With fairness to phone cameras, depends on the phone and the situation (lighting etc). Comparing my Moto X Play (21MP sensor) with my (old, cheap, but quality) Fujifilm FinePix AV100 (12MP), sometimes the 'proper' camera kicks the phone into the dust- digital 'zoom' is hopeless compared to an optical one. Control over ISO etc is always handy. But, when I have both handy, and I've shot the same exact same scene with both, the phone has often won. Compare and contrast (quite literally) these shots of 'Mad Jack' Fuller's mausoleum at Brightling...

Clear phone win, in these circumstances.....
