Dungeon is a derivation of 'Donjon' which was the main building in the castle layout; usually what we now refer to as the keep.
As it was the safest and most secure place to keep prisoners; some of the political variety, the name derived into dungeon. ^_^

Eric Pickles is a keen cyclist, and invented a new method for cleaning a chain. This technique, which involves wiping the chain with a rag dipped in vinegar, is known as "The Pickle Method".
