Thumb shifters for a 10 speed bike a in 2x5 for my little boy to get him away from the horrible twist shift things he has
It's an old bike and I think thumbies will help him get to grips with changing, Sti things would be good but were any ever made for a five speed block?

If you can find them, I think six speed indexed shifters have the same 5.5mm spacing, so should work with one gear at the bottom end limited off by the limit screws.

Any friction shifters would work, too. I use seven speed friction shifters on my six speed...

I got a set of these but haven't used them yet. They should be fine on 2by 5 set up. The guy has more for sale.
