This is one in the queue I purchased recently. All the bits are there and it is stripped down ready for shotblasting and new paint.

Serial number is on top edge of bottom bracket on the curve. No transfer/ label.

Not seen this before.

Frame is very light.

Stronglight crank with Simplex gearing and modolo brakes.

Chromed forks with Peugeot crown.

Should look nice when complete.

Just been given a set of retro tubs with Normandy high flange hubs. Needs new freewheel. Couldn't believe it when he said have them.
Should come up as nice as rims on Francesco Moser.

Is that not a Peugeot Triathlon? ‘86ish? I had one and the cranks, seatpost, brake levers, chrome forks and pedals/clips are the same.

EDIT: Forget the above I think Triathlon was 501 not 531.

You are right. Triathlon were 501 tubing.
They also used a Nervar crank and Sachs Huret derailleurs, Weimann brakes and levers.
I have had two and still very nice bikes.

Bike is now currently at paint shop so will update once it is back.

Frame has now been shot blasted. Be in paint in next week or so.
Still not in paint as just received my Condor back and my Peugeot Vitus 172 in paint shop before professional.
More as it happens.

Whilst off work I took the opportunity to do a little polishing on old tubs I was given.
First time they have seen a clean in about 20 years.
