I am thinking of buying a new bike, possibly for touring. I would like to see a review on the bike and possibly take it on a CC ride....would it also be suitable for commuting and mountainbiking?

Looks ideal to me. Touring, Mountian Biking and more!!! Yes, more. If you can believe that. A bike for the true serious cyclist.

The seatpost looks like it's really aerodynamic.

And the streamers will look very pretty blowing in the wind.

You could even take wee Joe with you and he can be your 'wing man' on the rear platform.

And it would be especially good on any Perthshire sportives as the tyres would stand up to the worst of tacking.

Have fun.

Id be well happy being the wing man.
Ill get a jacket with them tassles on. No need for a helmet.
The speed of it looks pretty fast. Should do a quick 10.
And its pretty darn hipsterish, look at those narrow bars!!!!

No. Wee Joe would fall over on top of you and protect you. But you're more likely to get skinned knees.

A set of mudguards might help, depending on how fast you are going. You'd need 3 mind. Maybe buy 4 (2 pairs) and then don't use one - that way it does not cost as much. Joe will maybe explain it to you whilst you are riding along.

You'll need platform heels. No rear brake.

Surely this is in the wrong section?

This should be in the 'taking the p*ss' section.
This sort of random posting drives me nuts - Mod, Mod, move it:smile:

Fixed wheel, inbuilt speedometer (if those tassells are not horizontal you are not going fast enough!), allready has a fitted mudguard!
What more can we want?

I was kinda playing with Noodley (playing with as in laughing with, not laughing at) as he has been consistantly annoyed at people putting the wrong threads in the wrong forums.

So it does! I had missed that, maybe I was concentrating too much on the tassles and the platform. It's ahead of it's time....
