Nice bike BTW.

I am seriously contemplating the same bike but in Blue and wonederd if you had any initial feedback or had managed to get out riding on it yet?

Cheers

I have it in blue. the colour is pretty nice, certainly nicer than I thought it would be.

I have a fairly standard set up with it and have been very happy although have had few rides on it...only about 4 decent, but it's comfortably...

you will probably get a better review off someone else!

I managed 20 miles (very wet and cold) on Wednesday, first impressions

The Good

- Very comfortable, zero road buzz, I can see it eating the miles.
- Accelerates fast and carries speed into hills remarkably well
- Handling, very sure, it felt planted to the road
- Gears, very slick, especially the front mech, which shifts like the rear one

Jury Still Out
- Brakes, its was very wet so time will tell...

The Bad
- PlanetX standard Saddle, but did not expect much. Have already swapped it out for the Specilazed BG from my old bike.
- Nothing else

PlanetX Customer Service
- Fantastic

Now this damn snow has gone I am planning a longer ride tomorrow, so watch this space

Have the same build (exc. crankset) and agree with the review above. Im going to replace the brakes with some Ultegra 6600 brakes, as the FSA brakes are pretty poor (as expected though).

Build quality feels good (so far), covered very small distance on the bike so far due to ice and snow; but will be out on a 50 miler tomorrow to gauge the performance better.

Front mech is a massive improvement over the older Ultegra 6600 IMO
