..do you carry one? Or just a a back-up tube?

After my latest blow out I quickly replaced the tube and thought I'd soon be on my way. It was blazing hot and I wanted that breeze again..

No such luck, I couldn't get the pressure up and in no time the tyre was back to flat. Sodding, brand new, made in Indonesia, tube had split down the seam:angry::becool:

Fortunately at the back of my saddle pack was an ancient repair kit and (thank you God) the rubber solution still worked! I was a long way from home..

With respect to Numbnuts, I work on the principle that the only thing that will completely stop my commute is a flat. Anything else I'll be able to limp on with. So, the only 'repair' kit I carry with me at all times is:

Allen key set, 2 inner tubes, puncture repair kit, tyre levers.

Normally just carry a spare inner. If I don't get time to do the repair at home, the following day I take a repair kit as backup.

Park patches, two or three tubes, CO2, pump and levers.Multitool.
I'm ready to help anyone.
Oh - and 1/2 dozen rubber gloves!

Park patches
I've had these sitting in the bottom of my saddle bag unopened for about 2 years. Has anyone ever used them? I bet the glue on them has all dried up by now. Probably.

You missed the kitchen sink there, blankety blank chq. book and pen + the cuddly toy

- I do carry one:- you gotta be crazy if you don't - though I have just invested some levers that will not bend when the temp goes over 23'c !

Does anyone know where you can get the patch strip that you can cut up yourself  - weldtite do them but finding them is near impossible !
