Rest day

Thank God I don't ride on Wednesdays. It's bl**dy freezing cold here and it's just been raining/sleeting/snowing

I went out last night @ around 9.00pm and did 3 miles and had to turn back because it was that icy as I got into the country roads, it took all of my concentration to keep the bike upright. I was spinning out on nearly every pedal turn and averaged a whopping 8mph

I hope the ice bu**ers off so I can ride tomorrow

I'm having tomorrow and Friday off (but still getting paid for it).

In fact I finished work for the season today. I fell off this morning on the snow and ice (and it hasn't abated) and my knee is giving me a lot of gip now.

I'll get some spinning in over the winter, and hopefully a trip to a Spanish island for some cycling.
