Screen problem with laptop

I have a compaq laptop that I have had for about 4 years and I have just noticed that the screen is becoming to come apart at the side just up from the hinge bit.

Anyone got any idea if this is repairable?

They are repairable,but the cost of a new screen would not be worth buying for a 4 year old laptop.
Take a look on ebay for a faulty second hand one and use the screen to replace yours.
It really isn't that difficult to take them apart with some torx drivers.
Any problems ,give me a shout as i have extensive experience of Compaq/HP products
