Shot-in stays are a real pain in the arse to get right.
It does.its something i never really took any notice of till a few years ago , i was always just looking at lugs
but the cluster arrangement does make a huge difference on oooh appeal

Thing with shot in stays is they've gotta be right on the 1st cut- with top eyes you can have a play. Cut too short with a shot in stay and there's 30 quid (plus time) up the shitter.

It's a pain. Arse of a way to make a living and frankly unsustainable these day with the amount of kit you need allied with the competition. leave them to it.fair enough , i watched Lee Cooper do some frame brazing a while back and it was amazing to watch and see for sure
