Hi, I mostly ride on Dartmoor on a 26" wheeled hardtail (Cove Handjob with 120mm Forks). Its an excellent bike for steep, twisty climbs but it's not ideal for longer rides and over the years I've got faster at descending and the bike takes a battering.
A while back I bought a cheap 29er and, though it was faster, I found technical sections were too easy / less fun, so I sold it on.
Last week I bought a 2010 Dartmoor Hornet, which was slightly too small for me but I got on really well with the 27.5" wheels and 130mm forks.
Anyway, I'm looking for hartail suggestions please (second hand). Bikes that have caught my eye are Stanton Slackline, Dartmoor Primal, Orange Crush Pro, Bird Zero
I've enjoyed my steel 26er but I'd quite like to go with an alloy frame.
