September 25th ride around Herts Beds & Bucks.

I can do this on either the 18th or the 25th September. The same Route as in August, starting from Harpenden station. Just under 60 miles with a cafe stop about halfway at Ashridge, and lunch 39 miles into the ride at the Golden Eagle pub in Ashley Green. There is a chance to bail out just over halfway at Tring station if anyone didn't want to do the whole distance.

I'm kind of interested particularly after bailing last time but......

1. the 18th is definitely out as the 16th/17th is the speedy ride to Harwich
2. I am determined to cut down my distance rides.

Becs, you'll be fine on the Dawes. It's quicker than FNRttC but not super speedy

As Martin said, you'll be fine. No one gets left behind and we re-group at the top of hills etc.

Particularly on the hills. You'll really need to give it some welly to keep up with Becs going uphill. She's not called Becs Pantani for nothing.....

There's a 30% hill somewhere in that route according to the metrics , that would be fun!!!
