The route is only 10km but i was wondering if anybody was going to go, Sir Chris Hoy is attending and it all starts at 9.30am on Saturday 8th September :bicycle:

Not sure if its worth making it an offical ride and ride there and back etc

Nope because I'll be on a Glasgow-bound train to do the Pedal for Scotland on the Sunday. Sir Chris's security will be relieved :wub:

Recently back form it myself. Only went up at 1300, so couldn't do the wee loop through the Innocent Railway tunnel but 21-yr old daughter, not known for her athletic nor cycling ability, managed 2 loops wirth me and it was great seeing all the very young riders pressing on up the hill and whizzing down the other side, with concerned parents following saying "slow down, now, it's quite steep !". Needless to say, the weans weren't for slowing ...

A good day out.
