Fed up with waiting for mrs Peanut to return from tending to her blasted horses I thought I'd try my hand at making a salad (don't larf)

Boiled some water put the couscous in a bowl and left it for a few minutes.
Got all the salady stuff out of the fridge bollotti beans, butter beans, toms, cellery threw it all on a plate sat down and started to eat just as Mrs P arrived home .

I have eaten quite a bit of it and some of the flavours are a bit odd especially the lettuce which came from Rich's allottment .

I'm looking at something on the last lettuce leaf which is moving

'you have washed that stuff haven't you ?' Mrs P says as the slug falls off my lettuce leaf :ohmy::ohmy::ohmy::ohmy:xx(xx(xx(xx(

First thing that I thought when I read the title was
"someone forgot to wash his lettuce"

Reminds me of a bad joke:

Q: What is worse than finding a maggot in your apple?
A: Half a maggot.

So it could have been worse!

Well, at least you know there are no nasty chemicals on the home grown stuff - yes wash it.

At least it wasn't half a slug........ master of the kitchen eh ?
