Hi guys,

My girlfriend's Specialized bike was stolen from outside a flat in West end of Glasgow on 09/08/2010 night.

About the bike:

FORK: RST Gilla Plus-T6
GEARS: Shimano Acera
BRAKES: Shimano BR-M465 Mechanical Disc
CRANKSET: Truvativ ISO-Flo

HANDLEBARS: Silver Aluminum

If anyone sees it somewhere, please let me (07531269827) & Strathclyde Police know about it.

Founder will be rewarded!

Thank you in advance.

Will keep an eye out for it on my travels, but.... is there anything unique about it that will immediately identify it from other black Hardrocks?? i.e. scratches, marks, stickers, bell, bottle cage etc. etc...

Thanks for your reply Brandane!

Well, the bike had a silver bell, black plastic mudguards and a red rear bike light. Furthermore, there was a black post for a front light on the bars as well. Also, there were some drops of white acrylic paint on the top tube.

It was a 2006 women's model, so there should not be much of them around Glasgow. Personally I haven't seen any here.

I appreciate your help. Thanks and keep me posted.

No problem, I have always had a dislike of bike thieves (and scroats in general) since my beloved Puch Alpine 5 speed racer got stolen in 1977! I had worked the whole summer holiday from school to pay for it  .

I am not actually from Glasgow, but sometimes I go for a wee jaunt around the canal paths or the routes from Paisley (after either cycling or using Scotrail to get from deepest Ayrshire) into Glasgow Central; so you never know!
