I can, because I am, and it wasn't - like that!

I remember that test card coming in for colour broadcasts because the girl's skin was useful for getting a natural colour balance.

The first test card I remember was the 405 line one:

That was when we just had two low-res channels that only broadcast a few hours a day!

625 lines and BBC2 came along so they did a new test card for that:

Then came the colour one of Carole Hersee depicted in an earlier post.

Actually, you are right!! Just been showing the different test cards to Mrs R who has a better memory than me , and she agrees.

We live an exciting life here at Rocky Villas.....and this is on a good evening
